Food Store Manager
Parkland Co-op is hiring a Food Store Manger at our Food Store in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
• Lead a team of 4 department managers; an overall store of approximately 30 team members and a sales volume of 7.7 million.
• Provide efficient, personal and excellent service to all our members and guests.
• Prepare the annual operating budget for the Food Store.
• Responsible for providing strategic direction to Food Store Team Leaders and Members to ensure safe, effective operations and processes.
• Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Department Managers to determine current and future capabilities required for effective execution of merchandising, marketing, talent development, and driving sales.
• Assist with recruiting of new employees and lead orientation practices.
• Assist in developing quality team training and succession plans.
• Lead a culture of safety through devotion to company standards for health and safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.
• Provide leadership to team leaders and team members to ensure that an engaged, supportive and positive team environment exists.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
• 3-5 years previous retail management experience, experience within the Co-operative retailing system would be an asset.
• Retail experience in ordering, selling, receiving and employee management.
• Ability to fulfil physical job requirements, includes some heavy lifting.
• Must have a high level of integrity, systematic thinking, planning and conflict resolution and set priorities.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
