Community BBQ Fundraising
ActionsParkland Co-op’s BBQ Fundraiser Program provides opportunity for non-profit/registered charitable organizations to host a community barbecue in Hudson Bay or Porcupine Plain.
We are partnering with local groups every Wednesday at lunch in Porcupine Plain and every Thursday evening in Hudson Bay to help raise funds for local organizations!
The deadline to apply is May 3, 2024.
We welcome applications from:
• Non-profit/registered charitable organizations exempt from taxation under the Canada Income Tax Act, whose programs and services benefit our community
• Not-for-profit community groups and organizations
For more information call 306.278.2022 or e-mail marketing@parkland.crs.
How it works:
• Applications are accepted until May 3, 2024
• Applications are reviewed and the recipients will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis dependent on date availability.
• Recipients must submit a Temporary Event Food Vendor Application to Sask Health Authority at least 2 weeks prior to the bbq date, provide a report to Parkland Co-op on the success of the program, how the funds were used and the impact the funds had on the program. This report shall be provided within one week of completion of the program or project.

More information and requirements
Please note that someone on your group must have a Co-op membership to participate in this program, and that your group’s purpose should align with our Co-op’s values of Integrity, Community and Customer Satisfaction.
We work hard to assist in as many community organizations as possible, however due to the high volume of requests received, not all worthwhile proposals will be approved. Such a response does not reflect upon the value of your organization and the valuable service you provide.
